Meals at Camp
Meals are enjoyed either alfresco or inside a dining tent which also doubles as a ‘salon’ for convivial social gatherings to perhaps enjoy a bottle or two of the local ‘Sahara Reserve’ wine, perhaps a cold beer or pot of mint tea.
Delicious meals are freshly prepared by our chef in a traditional Moroccan style with a choice of meat and vegetarian tagines and couscous for dinner, salads or picnics for lunch (depending on the activity of the day) and Moroccan pancakes, freshly baked bread, local jam and honey for breakfast.
The majority of ingredients are fresh products. All meat, vegetables and fruit are purchased directly from sellers in nearby Tagounite market as part of our responsible tourism ethos in support of the local community.
